Automating Financial Management
PM3 provides the means to plan and track portfolio, programme and project finances. Finances can be managed by Revex/Capex overall or by individual budget categories. Financial plans can be displayed as tabular data or a Gantt chart or a histogram.
PM3 comes with a standard set of financial categories within Capex and Revex (opex) but these can be changed by the user to reflect the standard accounting categories that are used.
Also, if an alternative accounting system is used, then an interface can be developed to automatically populate PM3 with the relevant project accounting data.
