PM3 for Cost Reduction
Quite naturally, cost reduction has been a major theme in many organisations and not just public sector bodies. PM3 has been used by many organisations to manage cost reduction programmes.
Its value modeller enables senior management to look at projects in terms of cost versus benefit versus risk. Decisions can then be made on an objective basis on which projects to defer or stop.
PM3 has a benefits module that is designed to track the benefits accrued by projects often within a programme. If a cost reduction programme is launched then our benefits tracker can then be used to evaluate the cost savings by project and then track these savings throughout the life of the project and also post project completion.
Recently PM3 has been used to run cost saving programmes in the Health sector.
