David Young
David has over 20 years’ experience managing business and technical projects in UK, China and South East Asia. He is a highly experienced programme and project manager. After five years developing Point of Sales and Retail Planning analysis systems in the Oil and Retail sectors, he spent five years working in China: initially, as the IT Manager for Nokia; then as a senior project manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers managing SAP projects for a range of multi-national Manufacturing and TMT companies. On leaving China, he joined a US-based CRM and electronic billing/payments company, setting up their UK office and managing implementation programmes at BT and KPN before moving back to Asia and managing the programme in Telekom Malaysia. He subsequently led a 150 person billing and CRM programme for the mobile operator, StarHub, in Singapore as well as a number of non-technical projects including process change, organisational restructuring and financial planning for Retail Distribution and High Tech clients. He returned to the UK in 2009, since when he has been leading projects in the Financial Services and Pharmaceutical Devices sectors.
David has an Executive MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Computer Science from Cambridge University.
